Labuat was Spanish music band, formed in 2008 by the music duo The Pinker Tones, publicist Risto Mejide and Operación Triunfo 2008 winner Virginia Maestro.


Risto Mejide is a songwriter for the group, The Pinker Tones are the producers and Virginia contributes mainly with her vocals, although she also writes some of the band's songs and lyrics.[1]
The band was formed when Virginia won the contest OT 2008. Risto Mejide, whose songs had been composed many years ago, realized Virginia was "the voice he had been waiting for those songs for so many years" during the contest castings. Risto talked to The Pinker Tones and accorded to record the album when Virginia left the contest.


In 2009, Labuat released their self-titled debut album, which peaked at number 2 on the Spanish charts.[2] So far, three singles, "Soy tu aire", "De pequeño" and "Carta de otoño", have been released.[1] In May 2009 the band was the opening act for Beyoncé Knowles in Barcelona, during her I Am... Tour.[3]


In 2010 the band disbanded, but Virginia Maestro continued solo as Virginia Labuat.

Has there ever been an instance of an active nuclear power plant within or near a war zone?

36 3 The question Has there ever been a military combat going on around an active (running or in outage but not decommissioned) commercial nuclear power plant? Or dangerously near it? If yes, how did the plant and its personnel fare in such situation? Why I ask Let's assume for the scope of this question modern commercial nuclear power plants (CANDU, PWR, BWR of generation II plus all of gen III and newer) are usually reasonably safe to operate given that the engineering has been done right and there is a whole cohort of very well trained personnel on-site at all times, well rested and with considerable resources on their hands. Things hard to get with an armed conflict like the recent Syrian war raging around. I can't seem to find any reference or a comprehensive article about this, hence this question.
