Checkbox set in UIcomponent form

I am a beginner, trying show a static checkbox set(not multiselect) in form.xml of ui_component so that one can select number of items from list e.g. Item1,Item2,Item3. please suggest me the correct way to implement, thanks in advance.

Where do you want to show this checkbox? And you wants to select one at a time or multi-select should be fine?
